About the event

Pole is more than tricks. It is a dance, a story and a presence.

In this 2 hour workshop with Petty Aduna, you will learn ways to bring intention, rhythm and emotion to your movement. Create a performance that speaks volume without words. In this workshop, we focus on moving with intention, prior to choregraphing any piece.

Through guided exploration and freestyle, you will be encouraged to slow down, listen to the music while allowing your natural pathway, and make deliberate choices in your movement. This workshop focuses on presence, transition, rhythm and emotional clarity, helping you to build performances that feel grounded and personal.

Open to all levels (with a minimum experience of 3 pole classes). Heels and kneepads are optional (come as you feel the most you). Notepad and pen highly encouraged.

Petty Aduna (She/They) is an international pole performer and movement facilitator whose work centres musicality, flow…
